Kentucky Land Estates

Kentucky is largely an agricultural state. Of its 25.4 million acres of land, 13.8 are used in some form for agriculture. Land is used as pastures, fields and meadows for livestock or crops. Over 164,000 acres of farmland was developed during 2005 and 2006. This land was turned into retail and commercial space to accommodate the needs of a growing population.
