Massachusetts Real Estate

Massachusetts may be one of the smallest states, but it is packed with variety. Boston, its biggest city, offers a wealth of historical landmarks and museums. It has the famous Boston harbor, where the Boston Tea Party happened which spurned the Revolutionary War. Massachusetts was home to the first settlers and many other war battles during the infancy stage of the US.

Massachusetts has a population of 6.39 million people. Only 25,000 of those people live in areas classified as being rural. There are 2.6 million housing units as of the year 2000. That is a 6% increase since the 1990’s. The median value of occupied houses is $185,700. The majority of houses were built after 1956.
