Massachusetts Land Estates

Massachusetts has 5 million acres of land total. Of that, only 518,000 acres is used as farmland. The agricultural exports for the state are nursery products, cranberries and dairy products. During 2005 and 2006, 27,200 acres of farmland was developed for retail and residential space.
