The rental market is strong across North Carolina for several reasons. Golfing has become very popular and tourists and baby boomers flock there during cool months. Tourists also head to Hilton head and other Outer bank resorts for the winter months and rent by the week, month or season. Military families are also a large part of the renting population as there are several bases with temporary housing.
