School Counselor	Operation and Control: Controlling operations of equipment or systems. Technology Design: Generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs. Troubleshooting: Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.	Evaluate students' or individuals' abilities, interests, and personality characteristics using tests, records, interviews, or professional sources. Interview clients to obtain information about employment history, educational background, and career goals, and to identify barriers to employment. Provide crisis intervention to students when difficult situations occur at schools.
Mental Health Counselor	Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Learning Strategies: Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things. Reading Comprehension: Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.	Act as client advocates to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations. Assess patients for risk of suicide attempts. Plan and conduct programs to prevent substance abuse or improve community health and counseling services.
Marriage Counselor	Technology Design: Generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs. Monitoring: Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Persuasion: Persuading others to change their minds or behavior.	Collect information about clients, using techniques such as testing, interviewing, discussion, and observation. Write evaluations of parents and children for use by courts deciding divorce and custody cases, testifying in court if necessary. Counsel clients on concerns, such as unsatisfactory relationships, divorce and separation, child rearing, home management, and financial difficulties.
