Frederick The Great of Prussia

Frederick the Great ruled the kingdom of Prussia from 1740 to 1786. His extraordinary military talents allowed him to establish his kingdom as the most powerful German state during the Seven Years War (1756-1763). In 1772 also he participated in the first partition of Poland, adding further territorial gains.
