Shinto Religion

Shinto is the indigenous faith of the Japanese people and is believed to be as old as Japan itself. It literally means “way of the kami”, where kami refers to “the sacred,” and there are kami manifested in natural forms, in human forms, and in human ancestors. The Shinto religion has no explicit teachings or doctrines, and no universal claims.
