Aerospace Design

(fundamentals) Initially students are introduced to the process of design, which include single component design addressing issues such as standards, testing and specifications.

(additional subjects) On completion of further study in this area students will cover many topics including aircraft design. For example preliminary aircraft design includes configuration development and sizing( This phase represents apparently represents 80% of the development cost). Students may or may not be required to create conceptual aircraft design project.
