Operation and Control: Controlling operations of equipment or systems. Writing: Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.	Attend or conduct continuing education courses, seminars, or in-service activities. Prepare treatment areas and electrotherapy equipment for use by physiotherapists. Administer traction to relieve neck and back pain, using intermittent and static traction equipment.
Physical Therapist Aide	Social Perceptiveness: Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do. Monitoring: Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Management of Material Resources: Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.	Train patients to use orthopedic braces, prostheses or supportive devices. Record treatment given and equipment used. Change linens, such as bed sheets and pillow cases.
Physical Therapist	Negotiation: Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences. Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Time Management: Managing one's own time and the time of others.
