Most of this information is not as focused and relevant as ours is for the user who is to looking for educational related topics. Our aim at Unixl.com is to provide education resources for university students, industry professionals and general public with relevant information on many areas studied at universities worldwide. It will also include some research papers relevant to masters and PHD students.

Rather then just supply the theory, we want to supply the practice as well with linking education to future industry careers. UniXL would like to provide industry focus to our education resources including highlighting potential career pathways.
Our competition
I do not expect to compete with the major directories such as Yahoo, DMOZ and Looksmart. In my view these are directories who index all topics available on the web and do not specialize. Unixl.com is NOT a directory but an education resource portal and employs specialist moderators to maintain a high quality standard throughout the Website. We provide information explaining certain topics and provide links to supplement this information.
